Coopers Green Hall Replacement Project – Community Engagement Session

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD)’s contracted design team will be hosting an online community engagement session on January 28, 2021 at 7 p.m. to discuss the proposed Coopers Green Hall Replacement Project in Halfmoon Bay. The meeting will be held on Zoom. Session information and the link to join the meeting will be available on this page in the coming weeks.

The SCRD is working with the community to design a replacement of the Coopers Green Community Hall. In 2017, a community Task Force was recruited and Principle Architecture was hired as a design partner. The Task Force worked with Principle Architecture and SCRD staff to develop a preliminary design for the hall using community input for design priorities.

In 2016, the SCRD initiated the Coopers Green Park Management Plan project to provide a vision and goals for the park as well as identify management policies and actions. Appendix A: Public Questionnaire Results.
