Annual utility invoices are mailed to property owners at the end of April.
Utility invoice payments are due June 15 (unless otherwise stated). Outstanding balances as of the close of business on June 15 incur a 2% penalty per month.
The utility invoice is in addition to Property Tax Notices which are not issued by the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
Balances that remain unpaid as of December 31 will be transferred to next year’s Property Tax Notice.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District provides several convenient methods for paying your utility invoice. Payment methods include mySCRD, which allows users to view their utility account online as well as make a Visa or MasterCard payment. Note – First time users requires an access code prior to linking your utility account to your profile. The access code is displayed on the right side of your utility invoice.

Clean Up Coupons
Clean Up Coupons are printed on the front of the utility bill. Please note: only regional garbage customers receive the clean-up coupon on their utility bill. District of Sechelt residents will continue to receive the coupon on their property tax notices.
Check your coupon for instructions, conditions and material restrictions. Simply provide your utility bill to the site attendant on your way in, the site attendant will record your account number, stamp your coupon and return your bill to you on your way out.
Change of Address
IMPORTANT: All property address information must be changed with BC Assessment and Land Titles at 1-877-577-5872. The SCRD receives weekly updates from BC Assessment and any information changed directly in our system will be overwritten by these updates.
